Posted on the 911uk forum by ‘Wattie’… I just wanted to say publicly a huge thank you to Eclectic Cars. My car is an all-weather daily-driver... So, I thought 'what can I get with 4WD, that's at least as quick as a Maserati and I don't have to worry every day about the engine blowing up? A quick search on another used car site revealed a couple of 996 Turbo’s within my budget, and as this one was local, I thought it wouldn't hurt to just have a look... Cutting a long story short, after about 20 minutes on their premises (and a really good cup of coffee) I had decided I wanted to buy SOMETHING from them. These guys are proper petrolheads and have a genuine intent to keep their customers happy, so that they keep coming back, time after time - which I am quite sure I will do.... I had a few problems organising finance for an 8-year old car, but they remained friendly and patient throughout and then when the finance was sorted, they got the car serviced (including a few extra recommended jobs that the Porsche Independent Service Centre spotted) and the rest is history. Brilliant! If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would genuinely trust them with a blank cheque to go and fill my dream garage: I reckon every car would be a peach, and most importantly for someone with absolutely no patience for restoration, would be ready to roll. Sorry it's a bit of a long post, but their service really does live up to the promise implied by their immaculate presentation of their stock...
