Outright Purchase

This is the quickest and easiest way to sell your vehicle. We are happy to come and inspect the vehicle, agree a price and conclude the financial side of the transaction at any branch of the NatWest bank for your security.

What is a Commission Sale?

We offer a Commission Sale Service: we sell the car on your behalf. The service is designed to provide the level of service you are looking for, along with that essential peace of mind before letting your vehicle out of your sight.

• Your vehicle is promoted and advertised free of charge.

• Your car will be sold through Eclectic Cars and thus carry our ‘stamp of approval’.

• Your vehicle has access to our extensive database of clients looking for classic and collectors cars.

• The price we pay you will be agreed between us before any marketing is commenced. A formal contract will be signed.

• Terms vary from 3 to 6 months.

• Peace of mind is offered knowing that Eclectic Cars will do everything to sell your car without the worry of hidden costs ‘popping’ up to surprise you.

• Commission Sale cars are fully insured and protected whilst in stock with Eclectic Cars.

How It Works

Eclectic Cars inspects your vehicle.  When the Sales Department have the inspection report and understand the condition of your vehicle, a price ‘back to you’ will be confirmed. If you wish to proceed, both you and Eclectic Cars sign the agreement. By signing the agreement you agree not to promote the car while on consignment with Eclectic Cars. The consignment figure is the bottom line back to you when we find a buyer for the car.  No work will be carried out on the car unless you agree in writing.  The car needs to be left with Eclectic Cars while for sale on an consignment basis.  Consignment periods are usually a 12-week contract.  While the car is on consignment with Eclectic Cars it is fully insured under our policy.  Road tests are conducted with a member of the Eclectic Cars team present at all times.  The car will not be released until Eclectic Cars has received full payment in cleared funds.  When the car is sold you will receive the agreed consignment figure in the form of a CHAPS bank transfer.
