Outright Purchase
This is the quickest and easiest way to sell your vehicle, we are happy to come and inspect the vehicle, agree a price and conclude the financial side of the transaction at any branch of the NatWest bank for your security.
What is a Commission Sale?
We offer a commission sale service that is designed to provide the level of service you are looking for, plus that essential peace of mind when letting your vehicle out of your sight.
• Your vehicle is promoted and advertised free of charge
• Your car will be sold through Eclectic Cars and thus carry our ‘stamp of approval’
• Your vehicle has access to our extensive database of people looking for classic and collectors cars
• The price we pay you will be agreed between you and us before any marketing is commenced. A formal contract will be signed
• By not having to buy your car up front, you the vendor, and the purchaser, don’t pay for our finance charges or stocking overheads. Everyone saves
• Terms vary from 6 weeks to 3 months. In the event your car is not sold, you have the choice of collecting your vehicle or talking to us about our storage terms.

How It Works
Eclectic Cars inspects your vehicle. When the Sales Department have the Inspection Report and know the full picture on your car, a price ‘back to you’ will be confirmed. If you wish to proceed, both you and Eclectic Cars sign the Agreement. By signing the Agreement you agree not to promote the car whilst on Consignment with Eclectic Cars. The Consignment figure is the bottom line back to you if/when we find a buyer for the car. No work will be carried out on the car unless you agree in writing. The car needs to be left with Eclectic Cars whilst for sale on an Consignment basis. Consignment periods usually work on a 6-12 week period. Whilst the car is on Consignment with Eclectic Cars it is fully insured. All road tests are conducted with a member of the Eclectic Cars team present at all times. The car will not be released until Eclectic Cars has full payment in cleared funds. When the car is sold you will receive the agreed Consignment figure in the form of a CHAPS bank transfer.
