F1 Detail and Paint Correction on an Aston Martin Vantage X Pack

This Aston Martin was in for the full Eclectic Detailing treatment. Although a clean and well cared for car it has been some time since the vehicle was properly detailed. There were lots of swirl marks in the lacquer and a couple of nasty light scratches made by grit on cleaning cloths. These marks require more than a simple mop to remove them, so the paint was flattened with wet and dry paper before being machine polished back to a glossy finish. As you can see from the photo’s it is complex process as it is very easy to get wrong if you don’t know what you are doing!

Once the Aston Martin had been machine polished the paintwork was protected with Carnauba Wax and the engine bay, interior, wheels and arches were detailed to bring it up to this amazing standard.
